Time Magazine devoted their March 5 issue to one issue and a single photographer, a first in Time’s 95 year history.
The issue, our Opioid Crisis, The Photographer, James Nachtwey. He traveled across America, accompanied by a Time photo editor, to chronicle the pervasiveness of the drugs and their consequences. The 32 photographs make for difficult viewing, but carry a powerful look at our national crisis.
Nachtwey sends a strong message with his camera. Our politicians should view these images, and the comments with them, to get an up-close look.
